Yet another death occurs from falling off a balcony.

At 6.30am on July 13 the police were called to the Kad Suan Kaew Shopping mall in Chiang Mai where they found the deceased body of 21 year old Stephen Timothy Clifford from Carryduff in Belfast Northern Ireland.
Mr. Clifford arrived in Thailand on May 30th this year. The police investigators discovered that Mr. Clifford had been drinking in a bar close by and had been arguing with a female friend at 5am when the bar closed. CCTV footage showed that at 6.17am he was arguing with a male Caucasian before walking alone across a parking lot.
Mr. Clifford was found close to the electric generator, he had fallen through onto the rooftop that gave way under his weight and he landed on the concrete floor of the basement.
Young travelers in the UK have been warned to take extra care on balconies after seven deaths due to balcony falls have been reported this year.
in June Joshua Smits, aged 24 died after leaping from a third floor balcony in Phuket, on July 5tha Russian tourist plunged to his death from the sixth floor of a department store in Pattaya, on June 13 Darren Taylor from Walton in the UK died when he was pushed from the balcony of the sixth floor flat where he lived in Bangkok and in April Australian Mark Woodward aged 45 fell to his death after falling from a 21st floor in Pattaya.
Other expat deaths in June include David Cavallin, 43, found dead in his apartment after calling the Swedish Embassy to inform them he was going to commit suicide
Mark Carroll, 60, drowned in Phuket after falling off his surfboard
Tory Lee Pilkington, 50, from the USA died after an assault in Bangkok
Frank Hartwig, 46, from Germany was found dead in his condominium room in Udon Thani, from possible murder
Koh Khay Gym, 32, from Russia drowned in Phuket
Cliff Bamford, 69, was found dead in the swimming pool of his rented villa in Phuket
Eduoard Gabrielle Hubert, 78, from Belgium was fatally stabbed by his girlfriend
Klaus Erich Leskf, 77, from South Africa committed suicide in Chonburi
Alexsande Poleshchenko, drowned in Phuket
Alan Patrick Mouncey, 38, from New Zealand was found dead in his apartment in Pattaya
Nicholas Drew, 57, from the UK was found dead in a field
Nicolas Javier Solis, 27, from USA was killed in a bike accident
Michael Paul Coppins died as the result of a gas leak
Aino Marianne Seppala, 56 and from Sweden was found dead in her Phuket home, cause of death unknown
