Yingluck jets off to Japan for a reunion with her brother

Yingluck Shinawatra, the countries ousted prime minister has jetted off to Japan with her son to spend some time with her brother, the ex prime minister Thanksin Shinawatra, along with her son’s best friend and other family members Yingluck took a Thai airways flight to Japan on Sunday night. The party were escorted to the airport under the protection of Pol Col Wathanyu Watcharapolothai. It has been reported that Ms. Shinawatra had to request permission to leave the country from the National Council for Pease and Order and is expected to spend three days in Japan where she will visit the Tokyo Disneyland before heading off in a private jet with her brother to India. Ms Shinawatra is expected to return to the UK on Sunday and will be joined in India by former Pheu Thai Party politicians. This is the second trip overseas for the ousted prime minister since the coup, she previously took her son Nong Pipe with her to a birthday celebration for her brother Thansin to France on July 26th.
