A 5* Condo with Awesome Views of Patong Bay and Andaman Sea

A 5* Condo with major quality renovations and upgrades recently. The Privilege Residence went through a tough time through COVID with owners unable to pay their Communal Maintenance Service fees and the management company at that time failed to take action to retrieve the monies owed and put the Condo in financial problem. Thankfully in 2023 the committee appointed a new Juristic Manager and proper action was taken to recuperate nearly all of the monies owed. In the last couple of years since the Condo is going from strength to strength with all owners now paying their CAMs fees and with the debts received massive updates, renovations and big improvements have taken place including: New Sauna, New Steam Room, Updated Gym, Renovation of Swimming Pool and surrounding area, Lifts renovated and upgraded, water systems and electrics are now upgraded and working as they should, the whole Condo has be painted including the outside of all buildings, there are now 2 security guards on duty 24/7, good cleaners now, plus lots more quality improvements. The stunning views from most of the unit's balconies are of Patong Bay and the Andaman Sea and are the best (in our opinion) of any Condominium in Phuket and the sea is so close to the Condo. The location is perfect as 5 minutes away you get all the supermarkets/malls/shops, banks, good restaurant and bars in Patong without hearing the noise or hustle and bustle of Patong. Behind the Condo is 180° view of rainforest with lots of beautiful sounds of nature and many colourful birds and sea eagles flying around the the sea views from the balcony, so beautiful. Kamala is also only 5 minutes in the other direction for quality quite beach bars and in 2024 three big supermarkets opened there (Villa Market, Big C and Tops). Kalim Beach is 0.2km walk away also. There are 3 under-condo car parks so parking is always easy with security sitting by looking after the cars. There are also lots of taxis around because of all of the local hotels and condos, so it only takes 3 minutes to get one. All the Condo Units have jacuzzi baths and rainforest showers and the bathroom fitting are all 5* as are the kitchen fittings. One of the biggest reasons that we bought our Condo in the first place (apart from the amazing views), was that it was a Foreigner Freehold Condo, so there is NO 30 year lease to renew (even if the owners want to sell you another lease), thus making it a secure investment. These are not many Freehold Condos on Phuket with sea views the good and close. Overall, The Privilege Residence is an amazing 5* Condo where my wife and I lived in for 7 happy years, in a great location and is really well managed and maintained (these days).

Condos here are available in the hotel section (hotel managed). The staff and services are very good. The common area includes a swimming pool, on-site restaurant, fitness center, and the rooftop has a beautiful viewpoint. The room has a nice spacious balcony and is designed to be proportionate. The bathroom also uses excellent and quality bathtub materials. It is fully furnished. On the downside, I think the gym has little equipment and not enough for the residents. Anyway, getting to the condo is quite confusing because the entrance is very small. The project is near Kalim Beach and about 1 kilometer from Patong Beach.
